The growth of unemployment and the
increase in crime rate all over the country due to our economic
crisis has caused fear and panic. The XKWC now offers 1 or 2 day
training courses for females or males who want to learn basic
techniques of self defense against potential aggressors. The course
is intended for anyone and ages 10 and up.
1 Day Course:
The course will consist of learning basic techniques to counter attack a person trying to invade your personal comfort zone.
You will learn the following techniques:
- Basic defense/attack against armed (fire arm, blade or any other object used to harm you) person.
- Basic defense/attack against an unarmed person using his/her body to try to sub miss you.
- How to increase your alertness and understand your surroundings to use in your favor
- How to control your emotions and avoid entering a state of panic.
- Boost your self confidence
2 Day Course:
Day 1 – Same as 1 day course
Day 2 – Hands on practice at our Durham facilities.
On day 2 you will practice what you have learned on day one in a realistic scenario. Some of these techniques include:
- Basic defense/attack against an armed person while you are entering or leaving your house.
- Basic defense/attack against an armed person while you are entering or leaving your car.
- Basic defense/attack against an armed person while walking on the street and an aggressor attacks you unexpectedly.
- All of the above with an unarmed person.
You will also learn the following techniques:
- Handling and shooting a hand gun.
